Lucky (Mehreen Pirzada) is the very guarded and pampered daughter of SP Prakash (Prakash Raj), an honest police officer. In one of his operations, Prakash encounters the brother of a powerful troublemaker, Sheetraj Devraj (Vivaan Bhatena), for whom Lucky was one of the reasons. Angry Devraj wants to take revenge and Prakash is killed in the attack and he also targets Lucky. Lucky Darjeeling runs away and hides in the house of his father's friend Prasad (Rajendra Prasad), so that his life is not affected. Now the police department looks for a special team aimed at security guards for Lucky.Raja (Ravi Teja), on the other hand, is a blind man, and his ambition is to make him a police officer. Raja along with his friend Bujji (Srinivasa Reddy) and three others would go to Darjeeling. Lucky comes out of depression and starts celebrating life with Raja's help. Meanwhile, Devaraj realizes where Lucky is and Devaraj orders his goons to attack Lucky. The story ahead is how Raza saves Lakki from goons even after being blind.

Credit should be given to director Anil Ravipudi for making the film entertaining.
Ravi Teja is making a great comeback after a gap of two years. He is given the character of a blind man and his heroism is seen throughout the film. The way he has done comedy reminds us of his old films.
Mehreen Pirzada seems good in her role, has done her job well, and so has Prakash Raj and Sampath. While the first part is good fun, the second part has interesting bravery and havoc. As the protagonist is blind, scenes with various fights and heights work wonderfully.
There is not much weight in the story that Ravi Teja is blind. Things get a lot easier for him through the film which is a bit weird.
As there is not much story during the second half, you feel that things are being repeated over and over. A song and fight sequence makes things tedious when you think a climax has occurred.
Background music is very impressive. The dialogues are written with lots of intelligence and shout a good josh.
Overall, Raja the Great is a typical mass spice entertainment film that you would expect from an actor like Ravi Teja. His superb action scenes and good dialogs entertained the audience throughout the film. If you ignore the regular story, then you can watch this movie with the whole family.
